Community

My work as a community artist is all about connection—bringing people together through creativity, conversation, and shared experience. Based in Newbury, I’ve built on my previous curating, teaching, and volunteering experience, while expanding my network through exciting projects with charities in my local area and beyond.
As I continue to grow my own artistic practice, I’m also developing workshops and installations that invite others to get involved. Whether I’m leading willow weaving sessions, curating exhibitions, or collaborating with schools, I aim to create inclusive, accessible opportunities for creativity and community engagement.
I’m particularly interested in nature-based art, social engagement, and finding ways to bring people’s voices and ideas into the work. Recent highlights include leading a school workshop inspired by a group exhibition I took part in, and being commissioned to create a large-scale community artwork.
For me, art is about more than making—it’s a way to build community, spark imagination, and support wellbeing for all involved.
